Rome prosecutors have opened an investigation file in relation to the vandalism that occurred in recent days at Enrico Berlinguer's tomb in the Prima Porta cemetery.
From what we learn, an information from the Digos of the Police Headquarters was sent to Piazzale Clodio on the third episode which occurred in just over two months.
The magistrates, in light of the arrival of the documents, formally started proceedings.
It was the children of the illustrious Sardinian politician, historic leader of the PCI, who reported the third act of vandalism suffered by the tomb in a few months.
"For the third time in the space of just two months our father's tomb, in the Prima Porta cemetery in Rome, has been desecrated, six days after the anniversary of his death", the post released by the family. «The cowardly action of some scoundrels – added Berlinguer's sons – reveals that it is not the act of a deranged person, but rather a gesture with a clearly political content. We hope that the necessary measures will be taken to avoid further outrages."
