Beatings, shoves and hair pulling of a disabled girl: two teachers under house arrest

Going to school, for a minor and autistic girl from a high school in Tolentino in the province of Macerata , had become a nightmare.

Witnesses, wiretaps and images taken by hidden video cameras have ascertained that the student was made the subject of insults, reproaches, screams, threats and slaps, but also continuous humiliations and denigrations .

The torturers were the people who should have taken care of her, that is a support teacher and an assistant who should have followed her in communication : the investigations, conducted by the carabinieri of Nor di Tolentino under the direction of the substitute Rita Barbieri of the Macerata prosecutor's office and with the collaboration of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Macerata, they closed with two protective measures against the two women, placed under house arrest by an order of the investigating judge Claudio Bonifazi.

THE RECONSTRUCTION - The two professionals did the exact opposite of their duty. Starting from the report of another teacher and from the direction of the school , the carabinieri have reconstructed various episodes from November 2021 until April 2022 .

To begin with, the girl, instead of attending lessons with her classmates, was taken to a separate classroom where she was left alone with the teacher and the assistant . Here it was covered with offenses and blasphemies , even in dialect. On more than one occasion they would have told her that her presence at school was useless.

Not only that: there would also have been threats not to make her have a snack or to throw her diary and eraser out of the window . Finally, various punishments: the obligation to write the same sentence up to fill a page, which then ended up in the trash; to stay in the courtroom when he asked to go to the bathroom. Among the current reproaches, that of not knowing how to do elementary things, or on the contrary, of pretending that he had some difficulties.

And then tapped on the back of the head or the back of her hands as she performed an assigned task. And, again, too complex questions, followed by phrases of mockery and derision for the difficulties in pronunciation, beating, shoving, hair pulling and blows of a plastic bottle on the head, for having touched the teacher in search of attention or affection. , threatening or contemptuous attitudes.

The crime hypothesized for the two suspects is severe ill -treatment for having committed the fact taking advantage of circumstances of place and person such as to hinder the public and private defense; with violation of the duties inherent in a public service, abuse of authority and performance of work to the detriment of minors.
