His name is Guido Russo, and he is the dentist from Biella who, in recent days, showed up at the Biella vaccination hub with a silicone arm to get that dose of vaccine that is essential for him to continue working.

An episode that the whole of Italy talked about, between convictions and half smiles for what seemed more a provocation than a real attempt to obtain the coveted green certification by deception, and which now it is he who is telling, on TV to the microphones of Massimo Giletti.

"I am against the Covid vaccine", explains Russo to "It is not the arena". “I did all the others, five only this summer" he tells Massimo Giletti. "And I did them just to prove that I am not no vax. I'm afraid of the Covid vaccine ".

THE “PERFORMANCE” - Then he enters the heart of his curious “performance”, as he himself defines it. "I built a foam holder to attach the silicone arm," he explains. Arriving at the vaccination hub, after filling out the forms and standing in line, he installed the arm in a closet. The trick of course was discovered by the nurse who accused him: "He wanted to make fun of me." Then another colleague arrived, to whom the man reiterated: "I don't want to get the vaccine", so he signed the waiver of the dose and left.

"I wanted everyone to arrive at that moment, call the carabinieri, I hoped to have some audience and send out a message, a provocation. To launch my personal protest, that is, that now Italians make the free choice to get the vaccine but other categories such as doctors, teachers and law enforcement are obliged ", he adds.

“ONLY A MESSAGE SCENE” - “But then why didn't you film everything?”, Giletti's question. "I wanted to make a complaint" still states the man who underlines how the prosthesis was so handcrafted that he was sure it would be discovered. "I didn't want to cheat the state, it was all a hoax" to demonstrate how it is safer for patients to go to a doctor who has had a negative swab than to a doctor who has a Green pass.

“BENDED TO THE SYSTEM” - So "the day after the fake arm I had to bend to the system ...", adds Russo, who specifies that he was vaccinated. "I was unable to arouse the audience I wanted, I was sad, demoralized - he adds - and I said to myself 'I'm not good as an actor, I have to get a vaccine because I have to work. And I did it because the state requires me to do it. ... ".
