Robbed Saturnino De Cecco, a member of the family that owns the famous pasta factory.
Four or five criminals who went into action yesterday armed and with their faces distorted in the hilly area of Montesilvano (Pescara).
Once inside the house, they locked the entrepreneur's wife and daughter in the kitchen and forced the man to open the safe, then take possession of fine jewels and watches before fleeing with the loot.
The carabinieri are investigating the episode, according to the testimonies of the victims, the robbers are allegedly foreigners.
Saturnino De Cecco had resigned from the company at the beginning of 2020 in the capacity of vice president while remaining among the reference shareholders of De Cecco, the third largest pasta producer in the world with a 2021 turnover of over 500 million euros, two plants in Abruzzo (Ortona and Fara S.Martino) and six commercial offices in the world.
He is currently headed by OverFly, an executive helicopter company that has been active for over ten years, and he himself pilots the means: OverFly, which has seven helicopters, manages trips and transfers based in Pescara.
