It happened last night in Arezzo, in Piazza Guido Monaco , where a 29-year-old woman was seriously injured after being attacked by her partner while he was trying to kiss her .
According to witnesses, including a young woman who picked up the severed part of her tongue that fell to the ground, the man bit his partner so violently that she was mutilated.
The woman was rescued by 118 and transported to the emergency room of the Arezzo hospital of San Donato, where the paramedics managed to reattach her tongue.
