They arrived in a group, shouting, verbally attacking the staff members present, and attacking anyone they found. They came looking for us." The regional branch of the Democratic Party (PD) in Lombardy reported the incident on social media.

With the intervention of the DIGOS (Special Operations Unit) and the Regional Council's oversight committee, the violent protesters "were removed and brought back to their event site. He was struck off the Medical Association in 2017 for 'having made propaganda against pediatric vaccinations, in violation of national and international guidelines, the provisions of the National Health System and regional directives, as well as the evidence of the available scientific literature', and was subsequently reinstated after the measure was annulled for procedural reasons."

What happened today is serious, the Lombard Democrats denounce: " First, the institutional doors are thrown open to anti-scientific propaganda.
