Affected by four viruses, a five-year-old girl dies

Tragedy in Padua: hit by four viruses, a 5-year-old girl died in hospital.

The family, residing in a municipality in the province, had rushed her to the hospital with a high fever ; in the previous days the father had been struck by the flu.

The death, according to what the health workers have ascertained, is not related to the seasonal flu but is thought to be attributable to four viruses that affected her, which also caused a cerebral hemorrhage, and affected her organs.

The little girl's funeral will be celebrated on Friday in the Basilica of Santa Giustina, in Padua. The family has asked for a donation to the Salus Pueri Foundation for projects in favor of the pediatric department.
