A technical fault on the Naples-Rome high-speed line is causing delays of up to 180 minutes. The first disruptions began at 6:00 this morning, and traffic is still severely slowed.
According to the Trenitalia website, high-speed and intercity trains may be subject to route restrictions, cancellations, and may be rerouted onto the conventional line via Formia or Cassino, resulting in increased travel times of up to 180 minutes.
Regional trains may be subject to route restrictions and cancellations. This causes significant inconvenience, especially for commuters.
