A 24-year-old bricklayer died this morning at a construction site in via Bassini, in the Lambrate neighborhood of Milan. According to initial reports, the young man fell from a scaffolding, falling 12 meters.
On site, the 118 staff, who could only confirm the death, the Carabinieri, local police, ATS and firefighters who are working to make the scaffolding safe.
His name was Endrit Ademi: originally from Kosovo and resident in Brescia, he was regularly employed by a company in Brescia that was carrying out painting work after an intervention that had involved the entire building. He was working on the third floor, positioned on a scaffolding that had a roof of just under a meter. The young man, for reasons yet to be ascertained, lost his balance and fell backwards. The barrier gave way, leaving him no escape.
