No plea bargain for the 24-year-old Sardinian who, in the days of Christmas last year, would have stabbed an escort in Campogalliano, in the Modena area.

Appearing in court yesterday, he was refused the plea bargaining proposal by the judge despite a partial agreement between the prosecution and the defense. Now the documents are back in the Prosecutor's Office.

The story dates back to a few months ago. One evening the young man contacted a prostitute with whom he had agreed on the price of a service. According to local press reports, the girl - arrived at the client's home - would have asked for payment in advance but he would not have had the money. Then the quarrel, with her filling him with insults for just wasting her time. In the end, the Sardinian reacts and, in the reconstruction of the Prosecutor's Office, grabs a knife and throws 4 or 5 slashes at her, reaching her chest and seriously injuring her. Fortunately, without damage to internal organs.

Once the investigations are triggered, the young man is arrested on charges of attempted murder and ends up in the Sant'Anna prison.
