22-month-old girl hit by father in desperate condition

A 22-month-old girl is in desperate condition after being accidentally run over by her father in front of his home in Portocannone, in the province of Campobasso.
The accident occurred late in the morning while the little girl was playing outside the house. According to initial reports, the man was driving a high-powered car and, while reversing, failed to notice his daughter's presence, hitting her.
Immediately after realizing what had happened, he helped the little girl, who was rushed to the San Timoteo hospital in Termoli and then transferred by air ambulance to Ancona.
