Cagliari, here's Belotti: "They wanted me. A warm welcome I wasn't expecting."

A final-minute signing of the transfer market, he's now starting his Sardinian experience. Andrea Belotti landed at Cagliari airport around 3:09 PM, the day after his transfer to the Rossoblu was announced. Let's hope we have a great season," were the first words of the striker after arriving from Como.

Belotti has moved to Cagliari permanently with a contract until June 30, 2026, the same term as his contract with Como. He started last season with the Como club (19 appearances and 2 goals in Serie A and the Coppa Italia) before moving to Benfica in Portugal in February, where he added 24 appearances and 4 goals . In June, he participated in the Club World Cup in the United States. This afternoon, he trained for the first time under Fabio Pisacane, following the restart at the Crai Sport Center in Assemini, with his debut possible on Saturday the 13th at 3:00 PM at the Domus against Parma.
