Walk the dog: attacked and killed by an alligator

A woman was attacked and killed by an alligator.

The story comes from Florida. The 85-year-old victim was walking her dog on Spanish Lakes Fairways when the 3.3-metre-long alligator first pounced on the dog and was attacked when the old woman resisted. The wounds proved fatal, while the dog survived.

The emergency services intervened on the spot and an expert captured the alligator. These animals are present in all counties of Florida.
