"Yes, she can". Barack Obama launches Kamala Harris' candidacy for the White House, dusting off his historic motto and unleashing the enthusiasm of the crowd attending the Democratic convention hosted in Chicago.

"Donald Trump is always whining about his problems and making up crazy conspiracy theories," the former US president said from the stage. "We don't need another four years of chaos," he added, "because we've already seen that movie and we know the sequel is usually worse. That's why we're ready for President Kamala Harris."

The Democratic supporters also gave a stand ovation to the former president's wife, Michelle: "Something magical is happening not only in this stadium but outside of here," the former first lady said in her speech.

“Hope is returning,” Michelle continued, explaining that Harris “is more than ready to be president,” because “she is one of the most qualified and experienced people who have ever run for the White House, and she is also the one with the most dignity.”
