The US Supreme Court has rejected the restrictions on carrying arms in New York .

According to the judges, in fact, the Second Amendment of the US Constitution also applies outside one's home.

A sentence with which the Court in fact again consecrates citizens' right to carry arms , at the center of controversy and heated debate after the continuous massacres carried out in various American cities also connected to the easy access of citizens to guns and rifles.

After the ruling of the court, the powerful lobby of the NRA (National Rifle Association) rejoices : "The Supreme Court has ruled that the gun restrictions in New York are UNCONSTITUTIONAL, win!", Reads the association's Twitter account.

The Second Amendment of the US Constitution, on which the verdict is based, states : "Since a well-organized militia is necessary for the security of a free state, the right of citizens to hold and bear arms cannot be infringed ".

"It is shameful that at a time like the present the Supreme Court decides to reject the law that limits the carrying of weapons in public in New York," the comment of the governor of New York, Kathy Hochul , after the sentence.

The Supreme Court ruling came after an appeal filed against New York law that required a special license to carry firearms in public.
