Meeting in Ottawa between Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and US President Joe Biden.

On the occasion, the leader from Washington did not fail to speak of international tensions due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

"We will keep the pressure on Putin with sanctions and we will continue to provide assistance to Kiev," reiterated Biden, who also addressed the issue of weapons that China could supply to Moscow.

“China has made a significant commitment to Russia but has so far not supplied the Kremlin with weapons ,” Biden explained. The head of the Pentagon Austin was clear in the last few hours : "If Beijing were to supply Russia with arms, it would prolong the conflict and certainly expand the war potentially to a global level".

In Europe, meanwhile, leaders are preparing to fly to China to discuss the peace plan proposed by Xi Jinping . At the beginning of April, the president of the EU Commission Ursula Von der Leyen and the French president Emmanuel Macron will go to Beijing to discuss a possible solution to the conflict according to the document that the Chinese leader gave to Vladimir Putin. A document which, underlined, among others, by the Spanish premier Sanchez, contains "interesting points".
