Powerful explosions were recorded near the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant during the massive missile attack that Moscow's forces launched against Ukraine yesterday.

The news was given by the observers of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the circumstance was announced by the director general of the UN agency, Rafael Grossi.

While Renat Karchaa, adviser to the Russian agency that manages the country's nuclear power plants - Rosenergoatom - replied that Grossi's claims are unfounded, calling them a "provocation".

In the raids with which Russia responded to the tanks in Berlin and Washington, with the use of Kinzhal hypersonic missiles - capable of following trajectories that disorient the anti-aircraft, reducing the probability of interception - 11 people died. Kiev said it had shot down 47 of 55 missiles.
