Two members of the Save the Children staff are “missing”

Two members of Save the Children staff operating in Burma are missing. The same organization reports this with great concern after the charred remains of more than 30 people were found today in burnt-out cars along a road in Hpruso, in the eastern state of Kayah.

"We have confirmation - reads a note - that their private vehicle was attacked and burned" yesterday in the state of eastern Kayah, an action that a monitoring group attributed to soldiers of the military junta in the country's government.
