A shooting unleashed after an interview with a crime boss saw two journalists among the victims. It happened in the Laboule 12 district of Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti.

Amady John Wesley and Wilkens Louissaint, who worked for local media, were killed by bullets fired by a gang, while a third reporter managed to escape when another gang arrived and opened fire.

According to local sources, eyewitnesses say that after the assassination the bandits burned the bodies of the two victims.
