Following the military raid in Venezuela and the capture of President Nicolas Maduro (who is now before a federal judge in New York, facing formal US charges against him), Donald Trump has made new pronouncements and announcements regarding the United States' next foreign policy objectives.

Not only with regards to Venezuela (with the warning to the new interim president Delcy Rodríguez : «We are the ones in control of Venezuela, behave as you must or we will intervene again»), but also by sending threatening messages to Mexico and Colombia.

“We have to do something about Mexico, Mexico has to get its act together ,” said the tycoon, referring to drug trafficking and illegal immigration.
And on Colombia : "It's governed by a sick man, and he won't be for a long time. Operation Colombia seems like a good idea to me," the American president said, speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One. The US president also spoke about Cuba: "It's a failing country, and we want to help the people."

Trump then reiterated: "We need Greenland" for US security , words that provoked harsh reactions from Denmark , to which the Greenlandic territory belongs.

Finally, the protests in Iran : "The Tehran regime will suffer a very heavy blow if it continues to kill protesters."
