The Jerusalem Post reports, recalling how rumors have been circulating for days of a major and imminent announcement by the American president, expected in the coming days in the Middle East where he will also participate in the Gulf countries summit hosted by Saudi Arabia.

In recent days, several US media outlets have spoken of Trump's frustration with the line pursued by his ally Benjamin Netanyahu, with whom he has apparently fallen out.

In these hours Trump also announced an agreement for the de-escalation between India and Pakistan. "After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am happy to announce that India and Pakistan have reached an agreement for a full and immediate ceasefire. Congratulations to both countries for their good sense and great intelligence," Trump wrote on his X profile. The announcement of the American president comes after days of very high tensions between the two Asian nuclear powers and reciprocal strikes, following which there have also been victims and injuries.
