The Chambre de l'Instruction of the Court of Appeal of Paris, meeting today to communicate the decision relating to the defense requests of the 10 former Italian terrorists refugees in France, has decided to postpone all to 12 January 2022. The decision, the judges explain , was taken simultaneously with the request for additional information to Italy on his extradition requests.

At the opening of the hearing, the judge of the Chambre de l'Instruction announced that the objection of constitutionality that had been raised by the defense of the former Italian terrorists was rejected.

The lawyer of most of the defendants, Irène Terrel, explained that "the refusal of this request was expected". The same lawyer has long protested to the judge for the too short time - in his opinion - which are left to the defense for the examination of the dossiers that must arrive from Italy by December 5.

Sergio Tornaghi and Giorgio Pietrostefani were absent due to illness at today's hearing. For the latter, the lawyer Terrel pointed out that he is still in hospital and that his condition is serious.

The judge decided to remove Pietrostefani's position by postponing the hearing for his case to January 5.

Finally, for Wednesday 6 October, Maurizio Di Marzio was summoned, arrested in Paris on 19 July and for which the statute of limitations could have been started on 10 May.
