Three Russian military aircraft were intercepted by two Dutch F-35 fighter jets over Poland.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense in The Hague, specifying that the Russian aircraft were escorted out of the airspace.

The planes "approached the Polish area of responsibility of NATO coming from Kaliningrad", underlined the ministry, specifying that the Russian formation was made up of "an Ilyushin IL-20M Coot-A escorted by two Flanker Su-27".

A fact which, if confirmed, would be very serious, because European airspace is closed to the Russians.

In the meantime, this morning the alarm siren echoed again in Kiev. An alert that concerns the entire Ukrainian national territory and which comes on the day in which the Ramstein format, the contact group for Ukraine, meets in Brussels, called to take stock of aid to Kiev.

"The priority now is to deliver the tanks, the Leopards and the others that have been promised, as well as the armored infantry vehicles - said NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg opening the meeting -. And that's what the allies are doing. Then you have to make sure that there is ammunition. Jets are not the most pressing issue right now, but the conversation is ongoing because Ukraine's needs evolve as the war unfolds."
