The wife of Kiev 007 boss Kyrylo Budanov was poisoned . According to Ukrainian media reports, citing defense sources, Marianna Budanova has been diagnosed with heavy metal intoxication. Substances which – according to some sources – would not be used in any way in daily life and military affairs, so much so that «their presence may indicate an intentional attempt to poison a specific person ».

The woman is now hospitalized and her health conditions are improving . The dynamics are still unclear, but the most popular hypothesis is that she was poisoned with food . Marianna, 30 years old, is the second wife of Kyrylo Budanov, they have been married for ten years.

She, with a degree in psychology, worked as a volunteer at the Kiev Military Hospital from 2015 to 2017. In 2020 she ran as a deputy of Vitaliy Klitschko's Udar party, mayor of the Ukrainian capital. In 2021, she was his advisor on the fight against corruption. Today she works alongside her husband.
