University of Kabul forbidden to women. This was announced by the new rector of the university, appointed by the Taliban, Mohammad Ashraf Ghairat.

And in doing so he quotes Donald Trump twice.

"Until a true Islamic environment is guaranteed for everyone, women will not be allowed to come to university or work there. Islam first", she announces on her Twitter profile. And then: "Make Kabul University Great Again".

"Due to the shortage of female teachers - she explains -, we are working on a plan so that male teachers can teach female students from behind a curtain in the classroom. This would create an Islamic environment that would allow female students to study".

"Until we have created this Islamic environment, women will have to stay at home. We work hard to create an Islamic environment soon," adds the new rector, without

indicate any precise date for the end of the restrictions.

With the coming to power of the Taliban, women were allowed to attend university, but forbidding mixed classes or dividing the classrooms with tents in case of male presence.

Furthermore, access to education was blocked only for girls from secondary school.
