According to Ukrainian military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov, the Russian FSB has been tasked with "liquidating" Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin after last weekend's failed mutiny.

The revelation in an interview with The War Zone, as reported by Ukrinform, in which Budanov adds: «We know that the FSB has been commissioned to assassinate Prigozhin. Will they be able to do it? We will see with time..."

Meanwhile, in these hours the conflict in Ukraine has been the subject of a telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Putin and the Indian leader Narendra Modi.

From what was learned in the phone call, the number one of the Kremlin explained that "Kiev refuses to resolve the conflict with a diplomatic solution".

"The Russian president assessed the current situation in the special military operations zone, indicating Kiev's categorical refusal to take political and diplomatic measures to resolve the conflict," the Kremlin said in a statement.
