Joe Biden retained and disclosed highly classified materials when he was a private citizen , including documents on military and foreign policy in Afghanistan and other sensitive national security matters.

This is the conclusion reached by special prosecutor Robert Hur who, while criticizing the president's handling of the documents, believes that he should not be indicted .

Nothing criminally relevant, but many politically embarrassing things for Joe Biden, who apparently "forgot" the documents in a rented house in Virginia. He would not have detained them voluntarily, therefore, but the prosecutor paints the US president as an old and forgetful man .

" An elderly man, available and well-disposed, with a memory that has significant limitations ", is how Biden is described by the prosecutor. The report underlines the good faith and immediate collaboration of the US president, but paints a portrait of him as a man unfit to lead the United States.

So much so that the speaker of the House defined him as "unsuitable" for the White House. "A man so incapable that he cannot be indicted for mishandling papers is certainly unfit for the Oval Office."

Added to this are the gaffes about Macron being confused with Mitterrand and Angela Merkel with Helmut Kohl. And even Putin has an easy time making a joke, interviewed by former Fox News anchor Carlson Tucker: «Biden? I don't remember when the last time I spoke to him was, I can't remember everything," the Russian president replied sarcastically .

Biden for his part claims: «The special prosecutor concluded that I did not commit crimes and that I collaborated with justice. Trump, on the contrary, lied and did not cooperate ."

But he must also respond to the embarrassing accusations contained in the report: " My memory is fine, look at what I have done since I have been president ." And he attacks Robert Hur, who also claims in the report that the president did not remember the date of his son Beau's death: «How dare he? I remember every minute, every moment of that day."

Immediately, however, he makes another gaffe, speaking about the situation in Gaza , he confuses the president of Mexico with the Egyptian president Al Sisi : «As you know, initially the president of Mexico Sisi did not want to open access to allow the entry of material humanitarian. I spoke to him, I convinced him to open access." The reference was to Al Sisi, obviously, who is however the president of Egypt and not of Mexico.
