The lifeless body of a 65-year-old Hamas hostage was found by Israeli soldiers in a structure near the Shifa hospital in Gaza City. The military spokesperson announced this according to which the woman - who was suffering from cancer - was called Yehudit Weiss and had been kidnapped in the Beeri kibbutz.

From the accusations coming from Hamas, "Israeli soldiers orchestrated a staging at the Shifa hospital in Gaza, displaying weapons, ammunition, computers and military uniforms on the shelves of the wards as if it were a supermarket", according to the office Hamas press in a statement denouncing the repeated acts of terrorism carried out by Israeli soldiers around and inside the Shifa hospital.

The military, according to the note, «terrified the patients and barbarically forced them to remain without water and electricity while the military ransacked the wards, destroyed the dispensaries and put the MRI machines out of action. After a twenty-hour attack on the hospital, the (Israeli) army spokesperson as usual produced a ridiculous and baseless narrative, saying that he had found rifles, laptops, military uniforms, displaying them on shelves like in a supermarket . These weapons - continues the statement - were specially brought by the Israelis into the MRI room where doctors and radiologists operate 24 hours a day".
