« If the Zionists were to take military action against Tehran, we are ready to use a weapon that we have never used before . We have plans for all scenarios and will act boldly." Thus the spokesperson of the Parliament's National Security Committee Abolfazl Amouei calls on Israel to behave "rationally", threatening the use of a weapon that has never been used. Maybe nuclear? It was not specified.

Tension therefore remains very high between the Jewish State and Iran after the hail of missiles and drones launched from Tehran on the night between Saturday and Sunday.

Israel will respond . Iran, Netanyahu said, "will have to wait nervously without knowing when the attack might arrive" , specifying that "we will respond wisely and not instinctively".

The Israeli defense apparatus is increasingly pushing for a military response, and Netanyahu himself seems determined to support it. But international pressure could push Israel into a moderate response. According to Haaretz the attack will take place within a few days.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi also issues the warning: " Any retaliatory move against Iran will receive a horrible, widespread and painful response ." The UN and the Security Council, added Raisi, «did not act to put an end to the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and to condemn the attack on the Iranian consulate, therefore Iran acted against the Israeli military sites from which the attack on the consulate was conducted. The blind support of some Western countries for the Zionist regime has aggravated tension in the region."

Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani calls for an immediate deescalation and explains: « We are friends of Israel but we want to work for peace. We could also send troops with forces from other countries if we wanted to create a Palestinian state ."

Italy, he added, «has a strong dialogue with the PNA, it is our interlocutor, I also heard from the new Prime Minister Mustafa, who I invited to Italy to demonstrate that we want to have a relationship with the only legitimate authority Palestinian, to work on the solution of two peoples, two states: the only possible solution for the stability of the area".
