Shark attacks while taking a bath, two women dead
The tragedy in the Red Sea, south of Hurghada. One of the two victims is an Austrian tourist

Two women were attacked and killed by a shark while taking a bath.
It happened in the Red Sea, Egypt, in the Sahl Hasheesh area south of Hurghada.
The news was released by the local environment ministry, which specified that one of the victims was a 68-year-old Austrian tourist , originally from Tyrol, while the identity of the second victim has not yet been confirmed.
In the area of the attack the presence of sharks is common but attacks on bathers swimming within the authorized limits are rare .
In 2018, a Czech tourist was killed off a Red Sea beach. A similar attack involved a German tourist in 2015.
In 2010 near the coast of Sharm el-Sheikh another shark attack killed a German and injured four other tourists.
