A Russian missile hit a nine-story residential building this morning, killing a dozen civilians, including two children, and wounding eight others in Uman, in the Cherkasy region of central Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the presidential office Andriy Yermak quoted by the country's media. In the images and videos posted online, the building is seen in flames and badly damaged.

In the last few hours, the Ukrainian authorities have reported Russian night raids in various cities of the country that have caused at least two deaths in Dnipro and the activation of Kiev's air defense systems.

The missiles «have again killed some civilians in Dnipro. A young woman and a three-year-old child died,” the mayor of the city, Borys Filatov, explained on Telegram.

Over the capital, the anti-aircraft intercepted and shot down at least eleven missiles, according to Ukrainian sources.
