Russia: 3-year prison term requested for Oleg Orlov, Nobel Peace Prize winner

«The prominent human rights defender and co-president of the Memorial, Oleg Orlov, is on trial in Moscow, accused of “discrediting” the Russian army», indicated Peter Stano, EU Foreign Policy Spokesperson on X. « Nothing can discredit this army more than its actions and behavior in Ukraine,” he added.
Stano then urged Russia "to respect its Constitution and drop the charges" against Orlov.
