Guerrilla warfare between ultras and police until dawn , explosions, fireworks used as weapons against the police, tear gas, burning cars and almost 500 arrests. This is the outcome of the night of celebration in Paris after PSG's 5-0 victory in the Champions League over Inter .
In the capital, a woman on a scooter was hit by a car during the celebrations and died . The toll was heavy at the end of the night in the rest of the country, with a car that hit passers-by in Grenoble seriously injuring 2 people and a 17-year-old boy stabbed and killed on the sidelines of the celebrations in Bordeaux .
Several cars were set on fire and shops were looted on the Champs-Elysées , and much damage was done to the street furniture of the capital, with bus shelters, shared bicycles, billboards and much more burning at the height of the Pont de Jéna at dawn.
Police used tear gas and in some cases anti-encirclement grenades when the onslaught by gangs of unruly fans became more threatening. Nine officers were injured, according to the ministry's count.
This afternoon, the winners of Monaco are expected on a bus that will parade along the Champs-Elysées between two wings of people.
Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau called on law enforcement to take "energetic" action against anyone who took part in the riots, calling them "barbaric."
