Oslo, man attacking with two knives: one injured
According to initial information it was not terrorism
Terror last night in Oslo , where a man armed with two knives chased several people in the historic center .
One person was injured in the arm and taken to hospital in non-serious conditions .
The alarm was raised at 5.45pm local time, when the police received multiple phone calls and quickly intervened, arresting the man. It all happened not far from the Royal Palace , in the heart of the Norwegian capital.
A young witness told journalists that the man shouted that he had two knives and started chasing several people , whereupon he decided to act: «I started throwing stones at him and chased him towards the building, because I know there is always a lot of police there,” the young man said.
The reasons that pushed the man to the attack remain unknown, but according to initial information they are not linked to terrorism .
