Russian rocket attack on a residential building in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.

At least eight civilians died and 67 were injured, Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klymenko said. Two children, seven members of the rescue teams and 29 police officers were also among the injured.

“We are resuming the removal of rubble. We were forced to suspend work during the night due to the high risk of repeated shelling,” Klymenko said.

During the night the air raid alarm went off in six Ukrainian regions: in the oblasts of Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy and Kharkiv. Unconfirmed sources also gave news yesterday evening of a strong explosion heard in Kiev.
