"A special wish to the Ukrainian people."

Giorgia Meloni , guest of Bruno Vespa on Rai Uno at "Porta a Porta", addressed it.

"In this period the moment of light is celebrated all over the world - said the premier referring to Christmas and other holidays that are celebrated all over the world for many religious faiths - and the Ukrainian people are instead forced to stay in the dark " .

«I would like us to think about what it feels like to spend even just one day of these holidays without gas, electricity, telephone or television . They are doing it and it shows how extraordinary Ukrainians are and their ability to resist,” added the Prime Minister.

Meloni also reiterated his willingness to hear and see President Volodymyr Zelensky as soon as possible.

"I have put the trip to Ukraine among my priority trips and I hope to be able to do it in the first months of next year," concluded the premier .
