Yet another massacre of migrants in the Mediterranean.

At least 78 have died in the sinking of a fishing boat off the Peloponnese peninsula, the Greek coastguard said. A budget certainly destined to worsen.

The boat, 30 meters long according to the Kathimerini website, capsized in international waters, 47 nautical miles from Pylos.

There were about 400 people on board: 104 migrants rescued, over 200 missing for which searches are underway.

The vessel had sailed from Tobruch, Libya, and was headed for Italy: the Greek authorities were informed of the incident by the Italian ones.
