An underwater nuclear drone that would be capable of unleashing a "radioactive tsunami" .

It is the new secret weapon being tested by North Korea in the waters off South Hamgyong province.

The drone, dubbed "Haeil," a Korean term for a tsunami, sailed for more than 59 hours at depths of between 80 and 150 meters and was detonated off the east coast. It was designed to attack enemy ships and ports by triggering a "large-scale" radioactive wave, state media explain.

Great satisfaction from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un , who oversaw the test stating that it should serve as a warning to the United States and South Korea to "realize that North Korea's unlimited nuclear deterrence capacity is being strengthened very quickly".

This is Pyongyang's fourth show of force in a week .
