Tension remains high on the border between Ukraine and Russia, where movements and the deployment of troops by Moscow continue, despite appeals from NATO and the European Union, which have also repeatedly threatened the Kremlin with heavy consequences and sanctions in the event of attack on the territories of Kiev.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, spoke again on the situation through a message on Twitter, which reads: "Russia must continue with its diplomatic commitment and withdraw the military forces it has accumulated along the borders of Ukraine and in temporarily occupied territories ".

Meanwhile, the evolution of the situation is constantly monitored, both in Europe and in the United States.

And precisely in the US, the Ukrainian crisis is also a subject of political confrontation. It is challenged by former President Donald Trump, who in a rally in Texas, the first of 2022, attacked the Biden administration precisely for the way in which it is facing the escalation of tension in Eastern Europe.

"With Biden's weakness and incompetence - said the former Washington chief - the risk is that of a third world war".
