"Following the signing of the Middle East Peace Agreement, Italy promptly initiated coordinated action to develop an effective strategy for emergency management and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip. The goal is to identify the most urgent and feasible interventions in the short term, with particular attention to humanitarian and healthcare support, while developing a comprehensive and synergistic plan among all institutions and stakeholders." This was stated in a statement from Palazzo Chigi after the government meeting on Gaza.

From what we understand, in the humanitarian sphere, the Farnesina is preparing new reception operations and the largest shipment of food aid to Gaza since the beginning of the crisis: 100 tons in total, collected thanks to contributions from key Italian organizations. A significant focus will also be placed on healthcare and education, "which represent the fundamental pillars of Italy's efforts to strengthen Palestinian institutions," the Foreign Ministry emphasized.
