The Israeli Air Force launched a missile attack on a military base of the Shiite militia Hezbollah in Homs province, Syria, killing at least six fighters.

This was reported by Dubai-based Al Hadath television. The planes fired missiles at the settlement of al-Furuklus, located about 240 kilometers from the capital Damascus. Another missile hit a house in Baniyas, killing a girl and injuring 12 people.

The Israeli air force has struck in Syria at least 32 times this year, killing 13 civilians and around 40 pro-government soldiers and Shiite militiamen.
