Dozens have been killed in an Israeli raid which targeted the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip. The Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health speaks of at least 70 deaths, adding that "the toll will probably increase".
In another incident, the ministry said 10 members of a family were killed in a raid on Jabalya camp.
Last night some details emerged about the bodies of five hostages recovered by Israeli forces in the last two weeks in Gaza: they had been hidden inside a network of tunnels dug by Hamas under the Jabalya refugee camp. According to military spokesman Daniel Hagari, the remains of Ziv Dado, Eden Zakaria, Ron Sherman, Nick Beizer and Elia Toledano had been hidden under the personal tunnel of Ahmed Ghandor, the commander of the Hamas Northern Brigade killed weeks ago. Hagari, who had already reported in general terms days ago about their discovery, added that the autopsy will have to establish the causes of death.
