The Israeli army (IDF) yesterday struck "weapons production sites and infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah" in the Dahieh neighborhood of Beirut, the IDF reported on Telegram.

“Yesterday (Monday), under the direction of IDF intelligence, the IAF (Israeli Air Force) conducted precise strikes against several Hezbollah weapons production facilities and other terrorist infrastructure in the Dahieh area of Beirut.”

Prior to the attack, "numerous measures were taken to mitigate the risk of harm to civilians, including the issuance of warnings in the area, the use of accurate munitions and aerial surveillance."

According to the same source , "the terrorist organization Hezbollah has intentionally embedded its weapons production facilities and armaments under civilian population centers in Beirut, using the civilian population as a human shield for its terrorist activities." The IDF, the note continues, "continues to target Hezbollah's terrorist infrastructure and degrade its military capabilities in Lebanon, in order to restore security for the citizens of the State of Israel."
