Biden launches appeal for extension of truce with HamasThe ceasefire agreement in the Middle East holds and a new prisoner exchange is expected today.
The Israeli penitentiary service has received a list of 42 Palestinian prisoners, women and minors, to be released, while from what we understand, 14 Israeli hostages will be released today.
Yesterday, on the first day of truce between Israel and Hamas, 13 hostages (4 children and 9 women) and 39 Palestinian prisoners were released . All of this, as mentioned, within the framework of the ceasefire agreements, which should last until Monday.
The hospital that welcomed the hostages yesterday confirmed that all are in good health.
Israel also announces that 200 trucks with humanitarian aid entered Gaza through the Rafah crossing: «The vehicles entered following a security inspection. The continued flow of humanitarian aid was approved by the Israeli government as part of the hostage release framework agreed with the United States and mediated by Qatar and Egypt."
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden's appeal comes from the United States for the truce to be extended.
