The situation in the Middle East is worsening and there is war between Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah.
The latter launched the announced retaliation against the Jewish State in response to the killing of military commander Fuad Shukr in Beirut last July, firing hundreds of rockets and explosive drones towards Israeli territory.
The Tel Aviv army responded, first with preemptive strikes and then with a more massive aggression, hitting hundreds of targets.
"A hundred Israeli Air Force planes destroyed thousands of Hezbollah rocket launchers aimed at the center and north of the country," the IDF, the armed forces of the Jewish state, explained.
The population was urged to move away from the most at-risk areas and a state of emergency was declared for 48 hours and Tel Aviv airport was closed.
Among the targets of Hezbollah - reports the Israeli IDF - also the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv. Hours earlier intense Israeli raids had been conducted on the Gaza Strip, with over 70 deaths, a few hours before the Cairo summit for the ceasefire.
