Iran Explosion: Death toll rises to 36, many still missing

A member of the Iranian parliament's health committee said the death toll from the explosion at Shahid Rajaee port has risen to 36.

"Of the dead, only 18 have been identified and others are to be identified through DNA tests, due to severe burns. After the fire is extinguished, more bodies will surely be found in the containers," added Mohammad Jamalian. The number of injured is 1,241.

The exact number of missing was not released, but it was high, the official said .
