Alarm on the International Space Station. From one of the Russian modules, the Nauka, a coolant leak was detected.

The problem was identified by the NASA Control Center in Houston and was visually confirmed by astronauts on board the ISS.

This is a liquid leak from one of the two radiators of the Nauka and both NASA and Roscosmos have communicated that there is no danger for astronauts and the ISS.

This is the third accident due to a leak of coolant from Russian vehicles: the first occurred in December 2022 on the Soyuz Ms-22 and the second in February 2023 on a Progress cargo module.
