After having had contact with a positive at Covid - the foreign minister - the premier of Finland, Sanna Marin, went to the disco. A behavior harshly condemned by public opinion for which the relative apologies were immediately received.

In defense of the head of government is the fact that initially she was reassured that there was no need to isolate herself since she had received two doses of the vaccine. But then another message was sent to her mobile phone in which she was advised to avoid social contacts. She hadn't read it right away, having forgotten her mobile phone at home, but only on Sunday, the next day. And she underwent a negative test.

Marin apologized on Facebook for her behavior but it must be said that the Finnish guidelines provide that those who come into contact with a positive and have a double dose of the vaccine do not need to isolate themselves, there is still the advice to avoid the social contacts until a test is performed.

According to reports from the Helsingin Sanomat newspaper, there are specific separate guidelines for ministers and government employees which also recommend limiting social contacts immediately after exposure with an infected person. The premier assured that she was never given this guide and reiterated the responsibility for her actions.
