Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte formalized the commitment of the Netherlands and Denmark to supply Ukraine with F16 fighter jets. The announcement came during a visit by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to a Dutch air base.

The leader of Kiev hailed the decision of the government of The Hague and that of Copenhagen defining it "historic".

"This is another step towards strengthening Ukraine's air shield," Zelensky said. All, of course, with an anti-Russian function.

Before flying to Holland, the Ukrainian president was received by the Swedish king Gustav. And even in Stockholm there was talk of the possible supply of hunting. Not F-16s, but Swedish Air Force Gripen jets.

There will currently be 42 F-16 fighters that Ukraine will receive on the basis of the agreement reached between Zelensky and the allies.

“And this is just the beginning,” the Ukrainian president explained on Telegram.
