Hamburg, terror in the stadium: man armed with an ax threatens the officers, the police shoot

The Hamburg police shot and seriously injured a man who was threatening them with an ax in front of the Volksparkstadion stadium where, from 3pm, the match between Poland and the Netherlands will be played which will open the first day of group D of the 2024 European Championships.
The BBC reports it online.
A large police operation is currently underway in the area.
According to media reports, the accident occurred near an area reserved for fans of the Dutch football team .
